Fingerlakes Boating Museum
The City of Geneva, NY issued an RFP for a new facility that will combine their visitors center and a new boating museum. The beautiful site is located just between the northwest edge of Seneca Lake and routes 5&20. Gary proposed a somewhat unorthodox design, since the building would stand relatively isolated from adjacent structures. Gary strived to capture some of the styling of maritime designs, while allowing the craftsmanship to stand out from the environment. It also provides a unique opportunity to create a tourist beacon from both the lake and the road.
